Cyber Academy Post-High Program
Students graduating from the Cyber Academy have the opportunity to participate in the Academy’s Post-High program. This program is designed to provide access to advanced curriculum materials and the chance to obtain industry certifications, equipping students for entry-level IT positions and facilitating their transition into post-secondary education.

Certification Pathways
RHCSA
An IT professional who has earned the Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA®) is able to perform the core system administration skills required in Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments. The credential is earned after successfully passing the Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) Exam (EX200).

CISSP
Accelerate your cybersecurity career with the Certified Information Systems Security Professional certification. Earning the CISSP proves you have what it takes to effectively design, implement and manage a best-in-class cybersecurity program. AWS CCP
The AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner validates foundational, high-level understanding of AWS Cloud, services, and terminology. This is a good starting point on the AWS Certification journey for individuals with no prior IT or cloud experience switching to a cloud career or for line-of-business employees looking for foundational cloud literacy.

CCNA
Take your IT career in any direction by earning a Cisco Certified Networking Associate certification. CCNA validates a broad range of fundamentals for all IT careers - from networking technologies, to security, to software development - proving you have the skills businesses need to meet market demands.

AZ-104
Demonstrate key skills to configure, manage, secure, and administer key professional functions in Microsoft Azure.

Entrance Requirements
Intake for the Post-High Program is limited to five students a year, so don't wait to submit your application.
Tech-Ed Diploma
Students must attain their Manitoba Technology Education Diploma by earning a credit in all eight Cyber Academy courses offered. Accommodations can be made for those that also seek to take other electives in high school (FAQ).
Club Participation
Students must have participated in three or more of our extra-curricular clubs throughout their high school career. Students must also provide a full resume and cover letter explaining why the post-high program is a viable option for you.
Credential Goals
Students must have a clear vision and understanding of the certification they wish to obtain, and provide us with all of the relevant information and timelines for study and the exam. Students are expected to manage their time wisely and meet the goals they set for themselves to achieve the certificate before they depart post-high.
Leadership
Students must be willing to assist in mentoring our high school students and provide support to our various extra-curricular activities. This may involve constructing hands-on labs, coaching or mentoring CyberPatriot teams, and contributing to internal competition development.
